I enjoy WE TAKE FIVE meditation exercises because they also include a stretching component designed to address targeted areas of your body. I think the stretching component is very critical for me because I have migraines and I store a lot of stress and tension in my neck and shoulders, but it is also nice to shake things up when you are at your desk all day."

WE TAKE FIVE

All WE TAKE FIVE exercises are designed to be done in a seated position and take up a minimal amount of space. Depending on your level of comfort you may be able to join from your office, home, park, cafe, or even a car (parked of course). 

It is easy to follow

​WE TAKE FIVE exercises combine deep breathing, dynamic stretches, self-massage techniques, and visualisations that are equally accessible and effective for both those with a consistent physical/fitness practice, as well as those dealing with

an injury/injury recovery/other range of movement limitations.

If needed, a  WE TAKE FIVE instructor will assist you with adjustments that will help you reap the benefits of the exercises.

"It’s very relaxing. It relieves stress… Like immediately even though you do it for such

a short period of time. For me, since I have anxiety it helps me put a halt to any stress that I have been feeling before I started. Anybody can do this. Even me, and I have neck issues, back issues, sitting issues, standing issues. I wish I could remember every one of these sessions so I could do more of them than just 2 or 3 a day."

In order to join a WE TAKE FIVE session you will need a smart device (smartphone or computer) with a working internet connection.​

​Join our Telegram Channel. There you will receive reminders about the upcoming sessions, daily questions, and access to the recordings

of past sessions.

​Live WE TAKE FIVE Sessions are hosted via Zoom's video conferencing app. In our Telegram Channel​ you will receive the join-link 5 minutes

prior to the beginning of each session. ​

You are welcome to share how you felt before, during, and after the session in our discussion group.

  • Headphones are helpful if you are in a public space and want to limit sound coming from your device.

  • Camera-on is encouraged to ensure that the instructor can offer personalized feedback. However, you may attend with your camera off if necessary. 

  • All WE TAKE FIVE sessions are recorded for archival purposes only, and will never be made public without the attendees' written permission. 

  • WE TAKE FIVE sessions are hosted in English. 

  • Zoom Automated Subtitles are available during the session.

We advise you to join WE TAKE FIVE sessions for two weeks, and then decide in what capacity you would like to contribute.
